Rent a charming log cabin in a peaceful kelomökki area, surrounded by pure northern nature! Built in 1991, this cozy deadwood cabin offers a warm and comfortable setting for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. The cabin features two inviting bedrooms: one with a double bed, and the other with a motorized lower bed and a convenient fold‑down upper bunk, ideal for children and teens. The loft provides additional space with a spring mattress + 160 cm topper set, along with plenty of extra mattresses for sleeping.

Our location is perfect for families and groups who want to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. The cabin includes a combined living room and kitchen for preparing meals together, as well as an electric sauna where you can unwind after a day of activities. Outside, a large and atmospheric log grill hut completes the perfect holiday experience.

Best of all, the cabin is only 8 kilometers from the Ruka resort, offering a wide range of activities and services for all ages. Here you can enjoy winter sports, hike through stunning landscapes, and explore countless year‑round adventures. Ruka has something to offer in every season.

Location

The cabin is located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, yet only a short drive from all the services of Ruka. In winter, you can access cross‑country ski trails and snowmobile routes directly from the vicinity of the cabin. Lake Purnujärvi is just a 700‑meter walk away. The Konttainen hiking trail starts 3 km from the cabin, and the famous Myllykoski in Oulanka National Park is only 20 km away.

The kitchen is equipped with a great selection of sharp knives, utensils, and spices. Pentik tableware allows you to set a beautiful table even during your holiday meals. There are drinking glasses for every occasion, and the dishwasher next to the stove makes cleanup easy. You'll also find plenty of blankets and throws, perfect for curling up and relaxing.

For entertainment, the cabin includes a high‑quality, powerful Bluetooth speaker and a compact premium Bluetooth radio. Both the downstairs and upstairs areas have modern TVs. For leisurely moments, there are books, magazines, and games. Winter gear includes two Stiga sleds, a pulk, four sliders, and a lightweight sled for hauling gear.

The grill hut is equipped with infrared heaters and excellent grilling tools: two Muurikka pans of different sizes, grill racks, wooden planks for flame‑grilling, and a selection of tongs, forks, and spatulas. The hut also offers a convenient locked space for storing larger outdoor equipment.

Families with children are well taken care of — the cabin includes a travel cot with a good mattress, a high chair, a potty, and a toilet seat reducer.
